The annual general meeting between EFRA (European Federation of Radio Operated Model Automobiles) officials was held last week, during which a provisional schedule for next year’s European Championships was decided along with various rule changes among the large scale, fuel, and electric sections.

Here’s the proposed calendar of events:

Among the various rule changes and touch-ups was the clarification of A and B licenses and the allowed drivers for the Euros for each. The new E-Buggy class brought about the biggest changes, with battery standards defined as well as bodies that must “have a real car shape” and “be able to carry the EFRA numbers at the front and both sides as high as possible.”

EFRA has also created rules for a Formula class to join the electric on-road categories, which will use “open” 21.5-turn motors and speed controls set to “blinky” mode.
