Press release from Indy RC World:

Indy RC World out of Garland, TX. is alive and well under new management. Transitioning from a race track with a speed shop to a full support hobby shop, they took to the road to show just how serious they are about supporting and growing the hobby.

The new addition of the Indy RC World mobile support trailer played a huge roll in this years Southern Nationals held at the Ike Hamilton Expo center in West Monroe, LA. "Countless late nights were spent in preparation for this event to ensure that we would have what anybody asked for" said Peter Husser. "It was a serious group effort that pulled from over a dozen people and their knowledge to make sure we had more than just tires and fuel. We wanted to have everything from your basic tires, wheels, glues, bodies and paints, to the more obscure starter box wheel, bearings, receivers, and specialty tools."

Parts support was carried for Losi, Associated, Mugen, Tekno, Kyosho, and X-ray. Everything from arms and diff cases to all the optional suspension components. Future plans include numerous other races held off site from a hobby shop, to regional RC flying events. "Tighe Merelli had a vision when he became involved in the hobby, and we are taking full advantage of the opportunity he has provided us with" says Peter. "The entire staff is comprised of passionate hobbyists who have been involved in this for years. We're excited in knowing that when somebody breaks, we can make sure their weekend isn't over. People sacrifice a lot to make these big races. People asked what our favorite part of the weekend was and quite honestly, the look on a racers face when you pull out that one part they broke and didn't bring, priceless."

It wasn't all work and no play for the Indy RC World staff either, at the end of the weekend, those who hadn't already started the drive home, posed their cars and hardware, for a last farewell to this great event. Look for the Indy RC World mobile support trailer at numerous upcoming events soon and contact them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/indyrcworld2.0 to schedule a trip out to your next race!
