From Travis Amezcua (via Facebook):
After five years of racing for the brand and helping to coordinate its North American team, Travis Amezcua has moved on from Team Durango. The 2003 ROAR 2WD Modified National Champion posted the following to Facebook around 12:40 AM CT this morning:
I just wanted to give you guys a current update on my racing status. I had an amazing five year run with Team Durango and could'nt be more thankful for all the good times with there support. Unfortunately the time has come for us to part ways. Now i look forward to the future opportunities in the RC industry.
Unfortunately, this may Amezcua - who TQ'd all four rounds of the ROAR Fuel Off-Road Buggy Nationals in 2008 - may not attend next week's IFMAR Worlds in Las Vegas. We'll keep you posted on any updates about Amezcua's future.
