The R/C Superdome is preparing to be open on April 15, 2017. The R/C Superdome will become Amarillo's only indoor race track and on-site hobby shop. The track will feature a 82'x47' CRC Fastrack II carpet track running both on-road and off-road 1/10-scale electric. The facility will also be open to do birthday parties, planes, drones, and slot car drag racing.

We are ecstatic to announce the the ink has dried and everything is final! We will begin work to install the track and Hobby Shop and hope to be open on the track within two weeks.

We have already begun working to get all of our vendors set up to avoid any delays. If you need something specific ordered we will be glad to add it to our orders just shoot us a message or email rcsuperdome@gmail.com and we will get it taken care of as quickly as possible.

Another tidbit is our phone number, we can be reached at 806-355-2921. This number should be up and working with in a week, so for now, contact by email or messenger.

Our building location will be in the Sunset Center at 3701 Plains Boulevard. It features nearly 13,000 square feet, so space will not be an issue.

We are also excited to announce we will be hosting birthday parties, practice nights for cars, and flying nights for quads and air planes.

We wish to give thanks to the Dreasher family for their impact they made to the Hobby community here in Amarillo. If it were not for them, many of us would not be active. So in pursuit of their legacy, we will do everything possible to carry on some of their traditions many of us became accustomed to.

Many of you may or may not know the story of the name we chose. It was originally established by Joe Jandrakovic in 1990 in Hutchinson, KS. Joe and Cody spent many years together both racing and running a successful hobby shop. Today, Cody and Robert will pick up the torch and carry on the traditions that Joe started many years ago.

Thank you all for your patience as we finished all of the processes to get open, we look forward to serving each and everyone of you whether it be in the hobby shop or on the race track.

Stay tuned for progression pictures and the grand opening day.
