Another trip around the sun is complete - meaning that it is once again time to roll out the blue carpet for another Team Associated Off-Road Championships…. The 2017 edition!

This year marks a bit of a departure from the norm as the schedule has been adjusted to accommodate the 2017 IFMAR Worlds in China. We petitioned multiple sources, but simply didn’t achieve the needed response! As such, our race date had to be pushed forward to provide a nice warm and tune up of driver’s skills and tuning ability.

We convene this year in sunny Wisconsin in October!! October 19-22, 2017 to be precise. Once again we will watch and drive the manufacturer’s newest chassis configurations and components alongside the very best in the nation and world!

Having successfully completed the 2017 edition of “Where in the World is S. E.” and met his demands accordingly, we are once again welcoming the resplendent vocal offerings of Scotty Ernst to announce the 2017 Team Associated Off-Road Championships. 

We look forward to seeing all of our long-time friends and family – and warmly welcome all of the new faces!

Schedule:

As has now been the format for several years, the 2017 Team Associated Off-Road Championships will run over a total of 3 days – 2 days of qualifying and one day of hot Mains! The preceding Wednesday and Thursday are scheduled practice days as well.

Wed Oct. 18th: Practice Day #1 (Open Practice, 11am – 8pm, $10 Fee)
Thurs Oct. 19th: Practice Day #2 (Controlled Practice, 11am – 8pm No Fee)
Fri Oct. 20th: Qualifying Day #1 (Open at 7am, 2 Rounds of Qualifying begin at 9am)
Sat Oct. 21st: Qualifying Day #2 (Open at 8am, 2 Rounds of Qualifying begin at 9am)
Sun Oct. 22nd: MAINS DAY!! (Open at 7am, Mains begin at 8am – Awards to follow)

• Modified 2WD Buggy
• Modified 4WD Buggy
• Modified 2WD Short Course Truck
• Modified Stadium Truck
• 40 + Modified Buggy
• 13.5 4WD Buggy (ROAR 13.5 Brushless, Blinky ESC)
• Stock Buggy (ROAR 17.5 Brushless, Blinky ESC)
• Stock 2WD Short Course Truck (ROAR 17.5 Brushless, Blinky ESC)
• Sportsman/Novice

Details:

• Sportsman Class features a 5 Minute A-Main
• All Short Course classes feature 2 bump-ups and a 7 minute A-Main
• All other classes feature Triple-A Mains
• Qualifying will be based upon Qual Points
• AMB/MyLaps Transponders Only, house transponders available for racing.
