Traxxas Sweepstakes: Top Fuel Ride-Along with Larry Dixon or $10,000 Shopping Spree on Traxxas.com  

“Going big” is synonymous with Traxxas, from campaigning full-size Skully, Craniac, and X-Maxx monster trucks in the Traxxas Monster Truck Tour to hosting the Traxxas Nitro Shootout at The Big Go in Indianapolis. Kicking off at the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the Traxxas Top Fuel Experience Sweepstakes will give one lucky winner the chance to ride-along in a Top Fuel car piloted by three-time champion Larry Dixon or indulge in a $10,000 shopping spree on Traxxas.com.

“As the Fastest Name in Radio Control it is only fitting that we would give race fans a chance to take the ride of a lifetime in a 10,000 horsepower Top Fuel car. If going up to 250mph in under 4 seconds isn’t on your bucket list, then the winner has the option to take home $10,000 in Traxxas products” said Traxxas Marketing Manager Damron Atkins.

At a show known for over-the-top vehicles, the wildest ride at SEMA 2017 will be on display in the Traxxas Booth (#21429). The new NitroX2 top fuel dragster, driven by three-time Top Fuel champion Larry Dixon, will make its debut alongside the high performance radio control vehicles from Traxxas. The 10,000+ horsepower two-seat dragster will take thrill-seekers on the ultimate ride, accelerating at upwards of 4 G’s and up to 250 mph in the 1/8th mile. Dixon is excited to break cover on the project, which has been in the works for almost 2 years.

"For the past 20 years, I've always had people asking me what it’s like to travel down the racetrack that fast in a top fuel dragster? Well ask no more. You can find out for yourself!" Dixon explained, "After going through the proper steps to ensure that the NitroX2 car could be designed and constructed with the utmost regards to rider safety, we went forward with the build." 

“Starting during the SEMA Show, we are giving people a chance at the Traxxas Top Fuel Experience." Atkins explained, "we will offer signups at SEMA, and in the Traxxas display at select events, along with the opportunity to enter through our website at Traxxas.com. It will all come together ahead of next year’s SEMA Show, when we pick a winner and strap them into the car for an unforgettable ride.”
