Team Losi Racing is expanding and we are looking for a new Product Development Engineer that are motivated to produce the best R/C racing cars in the world. Below are the details for the position and a link for more details.
Product Development Engineer
Department: Surface Product Development
Responsibilities Include:
Combine specialized knowledge and principles of mechanical engineering with significant experience of radio controlled model cars to design, build, test, and analyze RC products. This will include the creation of parts and engineering drawings for prototype and production at both domestic and international vendors, and creation of exploded views for instruction manuals.
Qualifications/Experience:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent academic discipline) with emphasis in Product Design from an ABET Accredited University.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and applications
- Knowledge of Material Science
- Product and platform engineering and design processes
- Knowledge of how R/C cars and accessories are used and maintained
- First hand experience in operation and tuning R/C cars at a hobby level
- Manufacturing process involving injection, compression, and transfer molding
- SolidWorks
- PDMWorks
- COSMOSWorks
