A Main Hobbies’ Silver Dollar RC Raceway will launch it’s outdoor, nitro off-road racing season with the inaugural Off-Road Challenge presented by Team Associated, Pro-Line, Byron Fuels and Tekno RC. The track’s massive straightaway, insane traction, covered pits and in-town location are just a few of the reasons why the Off-Road Challenge will become a staple for premiere West Coast races. Classes will be offered for both Pro and Open racers, 40+ racers, electric buggy/truggy and there will also be an Open 4WD SCT class. The Off-Road Challenge will host several local food vendors to give traveling racers an opportunity to try the best fare in Chico. Racers who compete will receive a free race t-shirt with their first entry. The affordable entry fees are set at $40 for each racer’s first class, $30 for a second class and just $20 for any additional classes.
