ROAR has issued a rule update today regarding the weight minimum of 1:10 and 1:8 nitro onroad cars. Before this time the weight regulations of ROAR did not meet up with that of IFMAR, thus ROAR has decreased the minimum weight by over 100g in each class.
ROAR Announcement:
The ROAR Executive committee has voted to change the minimum weight rules for the classes below. By doing this we are now inline with IFMAR rules. This change is effective immediately.
- 1/8 Scale On Road Fuel- new weight=2450 grams (old is 2525 grams)
- 1/10 Scale On Road Fuel- new weight=1650 grams (old is 1725 grams)
Both weights are empty of all fuel and including transponder (as rule currently states-has not changed).
