As you may or may not have heard, this year's upcoming 1:10 IFMAR Off-Road World Championships will be held at Silver Dollar R/C Raceway in Chico, California. The track is best known as the home facility of on-line hobby retail giant A-Main Hobbies.

Over the course of the last year or so, we've followed the journey of the new track via snippets of info, pictures, and video released by the A-Main Hobbies media team. Today, we've received a glimpse of the track in what should be its closest resemblance to what we will see the world championship decided on later this year.

According to A-Main, the track has received new dirt this year, which should please those that were concerned about its adaptability to 1:10 electric off-road racing.

In addition, A-Main has enlisted the help of the world's most famous track designer -- The Dirt Racing's Joey Christensen -- to help build the circuit for the upcoming events to be hosted at Silver Dollar.

Stay tuned to A-Main Hobbies and LiveRC for more pics and and videos of the IFMAR World Championship host track as they become available throughout the summer.

You can watch the world championships this September on LiveRC.com.

" Chico, Ca, May 17th, 2013 – The Dirt’s Joey Christensen is known for sculpting jumps and designing epic layouts that have been drawing racers from all over the world for nearly 15-years. This is why A Main Hobbies partnered with Christensen to build the dual-purpose layout for the Silver Dollar Off-Road Challenge and 1/10-scale Electric Pre-Worlds.

Silver Dollar Raceway’s new dirt and a fresh “Joey” layout that Christensen says, “is one of the best tracks I’ve ever built,” should make for some exciting nitro racing this weekend.

Several pro drivers including Dylan Rodriguez, Chad Bradley, Josh O’Connell, Marty Korn, Tyler Vik, Austin Blair, Richard Saxton, and Steven Hartson will be battling it out for the inaugural Silver Dollar Off-Road Challenge crown.

A Main Hobbies would like to thank the Silver Dollar Off-Road Challenge premiere sponsors: Team Associated, Pro-Line Racing, Tekno RC and Byron Fuels. Racers can visit AMainHobbies.com for a massive sale featuring Tekno RC’s entire inventory of kits, hop-ups and popular conversions. The Tekno RC sale will end Monday, May 20th. Stay tuned as A Main Hobbies will capture images and video from the Silver Dollar Off-Road Challenge, which is set to be a mainstay on the national circuit for years to come. "
