Last weekend marked the first annual Battle of the SiKest hosted by the world famous Thunder Alley in Beaumont, CA. This unique format was a little different than most nitro races. Friday was open practice, Saturday was 4 rounds of qualifying (due to light turnout, 85 entries). Each qualifier was a different length, 5,7,10 and 15 minutes long. Taking the best 3/4 to seed for Sundays Triple A Mains. A few of the heavy hitters in SoCal were in attendance, Cody King, Ryan Lutz and Adam Drake. It was an awesome battle all weekend between the 3!
