From Serpent (via Facebook):
Young Wisconsin racer Ryan Rappert was recruited by the growing Serpent America off road team, signing him to drive the Spyder 2WD buggy.
Here’s an interview from Serpent, talking to Rappert about the deal.
Hi Ryan,
Great to have you on the American Serpent Team!
Q: Is 1/10 scale 2WD your favorite and only class, and why?
A: Yes it is my favorite class because there is a lot of competition in this class and if I don’t do well, it will push me to want to do better the following week.
Q: What and where is your home track?
A: My home track is Dirt Heaven in Green Bay, WI.
Q: How long have you been racing RC cars and what was your 1st RC car?
A: I’ve been racing since June 2011. My first RC car was a stock Slash truck.
Q: What do you like most about RC car racing ?
A: I love RC car racing because it’s a lot of fun and I enjoy hanging out with all the RC racers and meeting new people at other tracks.
Q: What made you select Serpent Spyder as race car?
A: I heard it’s a reputable sponsor who cares about their drivers.
Q: Which main events will you race in 2015?
A: I plan to race at the Spektrum race in November at S&N Trackside in Milwaukee, WI. I want to thank Paul Ciccarello at Serpent America for the continued support. I look forward to working with Serpent as a team and having great success in the coming years.
