Four area hobby shops prepare for PA Tri-County Summer Sizzler

Four tracks in the Tri-County area of the Northeast U.S. are banding together for another Summer Sizzler Series, making one stop each month from May through August. Last year, the series drew 524 electric off-road entries and paid back over $2600 in prize money after three events, so a fourth round has been added for 2015 to allow one throw-out race.

4 Races. 4 Tracks. 1 Drop. CASH Payout!

Trains and Lanes Hobbies, Hobbyhut Raceway, G-Force Hobbies, and Mushroom Bowl RC are all working together to provide racers with a local 4-race offroad series.

There is one race scheduled at each track with ONE drop.

Cash awards will be presented at the last race.

Each race will have door prizes, provided by race series sponsors, raffled off to entered racers.

Novice (Run Whatcha Brung) *No overall series awards - participation awards will be given to novice racers at each race*

Entry Fee:
$25.00 per class
Novice: $10.00

Racers that attend three series races will receive a series t-shirt and be eligible for overall series cash awards.

Novice entries will receive a participation award at each race instead of an overall series award.

Every racer will be entered into a raffle with one ticket for each entry, at each race, for sponsor give-a-way door prizes.

Cash awards will be presented to series winners at the last race of series. The number of places paid out will be based on turnout for each particular class.

Race Times:
Practice Opens: 8:00am
Sign Up: 8:00-9:30am
Track Closes: 9:30am
Racing Begins: 10am sharp
