AMain.com’s world-famous Silver Dollar R/C Raceway will host the Second Annual SWorkz Challenge presented by JConcepts, May 29-31. The race will also serve as the ROAR Nationals Warm-Up Race—you can expect to see the nation’s top nitro off-road racers, as they prepare and test for the coveted nationals. Silver Dollar R/C Raceway’s high-bite clay-mixture surface will be hooked up with wide lanes and a flow-filled layout for intense racing action.
Open class 1/8 racers won’t want to miss the SWorkz Challenge sponsorship opportunity; there will be a sponsorship deal with SWorkz, JConcepts, ProTek R/C and Airtronics worth over $3,500 up for grabs for open class nitro racers. Expert class racers who want to test their skills will have the opportunity race alongside SWorkz’ pro drivers and dozens of factory racers—it’s not often you can race against the world’s best! Combined with a best trick contest, TQ’s “$100 Dash For Cash” for all class TQs and Chico’s finest food trucks serving tasty grub, the SWorkz Challenge is sure to be a huge event in late May!
SWORKz Challenge Highlights
Open Class Challenge
The open class racer with the best-combined finishes in open buggy and open truggy will earn a 12-month sponsorship from SWorkz. The sponsorship will include an SWorkz S350 EVO II buggy kit, the all-new S350T truggy kit, $250 worth of tires from JConcepts, a brand new ProTek R/C Samurai 321B racing engine, and a new Airtronics radio system. As you can see this is a special opportunity for open class drivers. To be eligible for the open class challenge drivers must not have a chassis sponsor and must compete in both the open buggy and open truggy classes.
