It's common knowledge now that this year's IFMAR World Championships for 1/10-scale electric off-road will be held on astroturf, and now we know that the reigning 2WD champion, Jared Tebo, is preparing to practice on carpet. Though the multi-talented off-road racer has been sponsored by AKA for several years, the U.S.-based brand doesn't yet produce tires for carpet racing - so Tebo ordered some Schumacher pins and posted this picture on Instagram.
Though it's perfectly possible that Tebo is simply looking to log laps with his RB6 and ZX6 buggies on artificial surfaces and there's a carpet track nearby, Schumacher tires are the official control choice for the Euro Offroad Series. Will we see the American make a trip overseas for an upcoming round?
