RC8B3 Aluminum Shock Standoffs | Standard & -1MM | Pair

Avid has released two versions of the RC8B3 Aluminum Shock Standoffs that are sold in pairs. The standard standoffs are for the kit aluminum towers and the -1mm versions are for the newly released Avid Carbon Fiber Shock Towers that have the standoff pocket removed in order to keep the carbon from splitting which required shortening the standoffs by 1mm to maintain shock angles.

7075-T6 Hard Anodized.
Laser etched logo. The -1mm versions have a laser etched single ring around the base.
Kit aluminum towers use standard standoffs, Avid Carbon Towers recommended to use -1mm.
50% the weight of the stock steel standoffs (Steel 2.6g/ea, Avid Aluminum 1.3g/ea).

RC8B3 Carbon Shock Towers | Set

RC8B3 Carbon Fiber Shock Towers are made from 100% carbon fiber, includes RC8B3 Aluminum Shock Standoffs | -1mm, towers and aluminum standoffs remove 40% of the weight from up high, and holes are in the same location as kit towers.

100% Carbon Fiber, 5mm thick front and 4mm thick rear.
Shock standoff pocket removed to prevent carbon from splitting. (Use our -1mm Standoffs to maintain shock angle)
Holes are in the same location as kit towers.
Shock tower and Aluminum Standoff set removes 40% of the weight from up high (Stock aluminum towers w/ steel standoffs weight 63g, Carbon w/ Avid -1mm aluminum standoffs 38g).
Includes Front/Rear Carbon Fiber Shock Towers, 4 Aluminum Shock Standoffs (-1mm), & 2 mini Avid decals.
