DKT carbon fiber shock towers and front shock tower protector for MBX7R

On Saturday, Italian aftermarket accessory manufacturer DKT published photos and information regarding new carbon fiber shock towers to the brand’s Facebook page, as well as an aluminum front shock tower protector.

The front shock tower is machined from 5mm-thick material, while the rear is cut from 4mm-thick sheets of the same material, contributing to a nearly 40-percent weight savings compared to the stock aluminum pieces. The items are available separately or as a pair.

The front shock tower protector is a thin piece of aluminum that protects the upper section of the front shock tower from cracking or splitting in a crash. It’s available anodized in either black or orange.
