The Kyosho Inferno MP9 TKI4 hasn’t even been released yet, and Kyosho is already introducing an optional body shell with varying downforce. Kyosho Inferno engineer Yuichi Kanai posted these photos on his personal Facebook page around 1 AM CT on March 11, along with an explanation of the difference between the two bodies. Here’s what the 2000 IFMAR World Champion said about the two shells:

We will release an another type of body shell for MP9 as optional parts.
Actually there are 2 types of body shells for MP9 TKI4. The difference between these body is only the shape of rear side end (side pontoon).
One is using for MP9 TKI4 Kit standard, which has a low rear side end (side pontoon). It tends to have a good performance for high speed track with high traction.
The other will be planed to release as optional body shell for MP9. It has a high rear side end (side pontoon). It tends to have a good performance for low traction track with bumpy track.
