New Kyosho high downforce TKI4 bodies and lightweight wing hardware
Kyosho Inferno engineer and 2000 IFMAR World Champion Yuichi Kanai shared some new Kyosho product news on his personal Facebook page this week, including a sneak peek at the new high-downforce body shell for the TKI4 as well as lightweight wicker bill hardware.
The new body will be available in lightweight 0.8mm (#IFB009) and heavy-duty 1.0mm (#IFB009H) Lexan. Kanai said both versions of the lid should be available soon.
New titanium 2.6x6mm button head screws (1-S12606HT) and gun metal-anodized aluminum M2.6x3.0 nuts (#1-N2630NA-GM) with nylon locking rings can be used to attach the wicker bill to the rear wing, shaving 1.5 grams from the TKI4’s highest, and most rearward, point.
