Yokomo has released two new option parts for the BD7-2016 touring car, both made of carbon fiber.

The first is a hard carbon fiber chassis made from a new weave, making it stiffer than the standard item, but it is slightly thinner and has more cutouts in the center. These enhancements provide more balanced flex characteristics front to rear, resulting in more initial steering and corner speed. The hard carbon fiber chassis is designed for low- to medium-grip tracks.

The new soft carbon fiber top deck is designed to be used with the aluminum chassis. The new piece improves traction with a more progressive feel, resulting in more side bite. Yokomo team drivers in both the modified and stock classes at last weekend’s Euro Touring Series race in Austria preferred the softer top deck on the ETS carpet.
