Picco Micromotori is proud to introduce their new high end, competition engines called V1 Team DLC CER in the off road version and R1 Team DLC CER in the on road version.

The Picco V1 Team DLC CER is the brand new top performance off road engine in our products line. Already Italian National champion as a prototype in the hands of Marco Baruffolo, the engine features a new crankcase, designed to be stiffer so that the absence of torsion allows for more stable performances at any temperature and prevents any RPM loss. With a 5 port sleeve, the V1 now features a longer stroke and a new crankshaft that underwent a DLC coating treatment to ensures a very low crankpin wear and protects the shaft from oxidations of any kind for a long life of the part. The carburettor now sports a double bottom-end adjustment for finer tuning and a better combustible passage, while the main bearing is ceramic.

The Picco R1 Team DLC CER engine is the new high-end, competition on road engine of our line developed thanks to a close cooperation between Edo Picco and former World Champion Robert Pietsch. Featuring a redesigned, stiffer crankcase that ensures more stable performances throughout a wider temperature range and prevents any loss of RPMs tue to unwanted torsions, the R1 also sports a double bottom-end adjustment carburettor for finer tuning and a better passage. The crankshaft features an all new, precious DLC coating that prevents any oxidation and any wear of the crankpin. Fitted with a ceramic ball bearing, the crankcase also sports smaller upper fins to allow the laser engraved, aluminium cooling head to sit lower on the engine for a lower overall CG. At the heart of the engine we find a 7 port sleeve paired with a piston machined from high silicon material.
