Setting the trim on any R/C car is crucial but perhaps even more critical is for the trim to remain consistent throughout a race. JConcepts introduces the servo mount bracket for the B6 | B6D vehicles. Constructed of billet aluminum and available in either blue or black colors, this unique part offers benefits over the stock mount configuration.

First, the mount fits snug inside the chassis servo mounting area increasing the support across while the 2 screw mounting locations are beefy in design and zeroed in for a direct mount to that chassis. Second, the bracket has locations on each side for included 3x6mm set screws to help align and maintain servo position during racing conditions, crashes and hard hits. The set screws are intended to touch-off against the servo case and provide additional support keeping the servo in the intended position which helps maintain consistent steering trim.

The servo mount bracket can be installed without any modifications or additional equipment in B6 vehicles and immediately brings peace of mind to the detail oriented racer. Installation notes –

To install, completely remove servo from vehicle and remove standard mounts. With the servo horn already in the correct position, align plastic shims as previously used on the servo. Install bracket to each side and loosely fasten factory mounting screws with washers into the 4 locations and snug them. Now, center the servo between the bracket and install the 3x6mm set screws on each side, use a light amount of thread locking material and snug them to touch off and keep the servo in place.

Completely clamp the 4 mounting screws on the front side to lock servo position. Remember to always use a light about of thread locking material when securing steel screws into aluminum mounts. Reinstall the servo to vehicle and trim out and check EPA adjustments to complete assembly.

The Tribute 12mm wheel by JConcepts packs an assortment of options in to a design and style that mimics the golden age of Monster Truck racing. With a list of design considerations, the team went to work on a simple and durable one-piece wheel design that was first stout and second versatile. It was important to incorporate an adaptor which could alter the off-set but also maintain a certain look made popular in the hard-core side-by-side racing days. The stepped design reduces weight but also adds rigidity for the ultimate bash and play wheel.

The Tribute wheel includes three, 12mm hex off-set wheel adaptors. 11mm width for a stock Clod Buster or retro type Monster Truck width, 18mm for increased stability on standard wheelbase trucks and 25mm for the ultimate in footing for long wheelbase race trucks. The adaptors are installed with 6 x 2.5 x 12mm screws and centers precisely on the wheel for positive engagement. The wheels include open and closed planetary caps which attach with 6 x 2.5 x 8mm screws. The planetary caps support a scale look as well as a quick change racer function to suit individual needs.

The wheel set includes a slim, open cell insert, which can be installed as a cushion but also provides an equal platform for the tire insert to rest against. Also included is a pair of steel, serrated, 4mm thin pattern lock-nuts for greater security. The Tribute wheels are available in white, black, yellow and silver colors to match any color scheme or realistic build. The overall width of the wheels is true to scale which allows a more compact design and included reinforcement ribs on the inside help reduce hub flex.
