Serpent announces the upcoming release of the Viper 977-E

Several years ago, Serpent became one of the first to develop a purpose-built electric 1:8 scale onroad car; the 966-E. They have announced today that they will soon be introducing their latest 1:8 scale electric creation very soon; the Viper 977-E.

The new car will feature carbon fiber chassis, carbon fiber top deck, carbon fiber battery holders, 2-belt drivetrain system, Viper 977 front and rear suspension, and more.

The Viper 977-E is rumored to hit hobby shops within the coming months, as Serpent says, "Final testing is in full progress, and soon production can start . While many of its details are visible in the photos provided, Serpent has yet to release a full view of the new car at this time.
