Avid Carbon Fiber Touring Car Upgrades

XRAY T4 | AE TC6.2 | YOKOMO BD7
 
After what feels like years of development, the much anticipated release of our touring car upgrades are here.  Today we present our carbon chassis (2mm), top decks (2mm and 1.5mm), and shock towers (2mm) for the Xray T4, AE TC6.2, and the Yokomo BD7.  Just in time to be almost outdated!
 
  1. 100% Premium carbon fiber with a varying angle layup to increase stiffness.
  2. Cut with layup angles balanced left and right to insure equal twisting resistance side to side.
  3. 2mm thick chassis allows for lower CG and ability to lower roll centers more than stock.
  4. Chassis shape is smoothed to keep droop screw platforms from digging into the track during hard cornering.
  5. By using the different top decks to adjust traction levels, the chassis performs on both asphalt and carpet.
