Morganti and DeSoto dominated Winternats

I’m back home after a long, intense and very successful week of racing. First was the FSS #6 that also serves as warm up for the Winternats. I had a great event and i was able to win the 1/8 scale class, in front of my team mates Tony Rice and Rick Davis. Then was the Winternats. After a bad beginning, destroying a 748 due to a runaway, the week slowly was getting better and better.

I was able to TQ the sedan class and qualify second in 1/8. The mains where very exciting and competitive, and at the end i was able to secure the win in both classes. What a race!!! So happy and first time double at the Fort!!! There are so many people to thank that most likely I’m going to miss somebody. From the team mates, track owners, colleagues, friends and competitors, i will like to thank them all for the great racing and good times. At the end of the day, even if in my case it’s serious business and not a hobby, we are a small community and is about having a good time, despite the brand of car you have. I appreciate the many great people from around the world that this sport has enabled me to meet and interact on a daily basis. Last but definitely not least, i will like to thank the companies that unconditionally support me.
