Race report from Pro-Line Racing (by Jake Dellinger):

This weekend I attended Round 2 of the RC Pro Series held in Belton, Texas at 439 Raceway.

There was just under 150 entries this round and was ran with the usual 3 day format with practice Friday qualifying on Saturday and mains on Sunday.

I spent Friday learning the Track with my Nitro and E-Buggy equipped with my go to tire Blockade in the X3 compound.

My cars were really good in practice so I decided not to change anything but Tires and decided on M3 Hole-Shots for qualifying. Qualifying went really well for me and I was able to TQ all 3 rounds of E-Buggy and 2 rounds of Nitro Buggy. Since we were running rocket round qualifying and I set the fastest times in both classes in round 2 I ended up TQ in both E-Buggy and Nitro Buggy!

For the Mains in E-Buggy we ran the standard triple A-Main format.

I decided to stay with the M3 Hole-Shots since I had such good luck with them in qualifying. In A1 I had some really good battles throughout the 10 minute main with Pro-Line teammate Noah Dickerson but came out on top when the tone sounded. In A2 I wrecked in the first turn and fell to last, but I put my head down and drove my car as hard as I could. At around the halfway point I caught up to the leader Pro-Line teammate Tyler Hooks and battled with him for a few laps, and was able to make the pass with about 5 laps to go finishing 1st giving me the overall in E-Buggy!

In the 45-minute Nitro Buggy Main I went with X3 Fugitives. I had a flawless run the entire 45-minute Main with no issues, really fast pits and plenty of tread left after 45-minutes giving me the win!

I had an absolute blast this weekend and can’t thank  Santos Rodriguez and the 439 Raceway crew for providing Texas with such an awesome facility to race at!

Also huge thanks to Pro-Line for providing me with the best RC products in the industry!
