Qualifying at the 19th annual Silver State concluded early Saturday afternoon with the completion of the third round, solidifying the main event starting lineup for all eight racing divisions after each drivers' best two of three points were tallied. With Pro Truck already decided after Tekno RC's Joe Bornhorst nailed down the first two rounds yesterday, all eyes were on the Nitro and Electric Buggy categories - both of which had multiple drivers in contention heading into the final heats.

Pro Electric Buggy
Ryan Cavalieri drove his Team Associated RC8B3e to the fastest time by less than a half a second over Ty Tessmann, which secured the overall TQ.
Pro Truck
Ryan Cavalieri was disappointed that he didn't have a chance to TQ after coming up just three-tenths of a second short in Q2 on Friday night, and it showed in his urgent driving this morning. Cavalieri sped off to the fastest time by 1.6 seconds, which secured the second spot on the A-Main grid.
Pro Buggy
Though Spencer Rivkin was the overnight TQ, four drivers - Rivkin, Tessmann, Maifield and Phend - were in contention for the overall with one heat to go. Tessmann led for much of the race before Rivkin sped past on the clock, crossing the line just over three-tenths faster than the fellow IFMAR world champion to win Q3 and the overall.
