Pham takes round 2 of the ARC Hammer in the Foothills Series!

Auburn Performance Raceway 2nd Race to The Hammer In The Foothills Series. “I had a blast with friends and family in the Auburn, CA sunny skies. I’m proud to have taken a few respectful podium finishes right before the rain came down on us.” - Michael Pham

1.9 IFS Class (Vaterra Twin Hammers) / 1st Place Winner

This course layout consisted jumps, hill climbs, rock garden, river rocks, dirt, sand, wagon wheels, and broken bridges. Race had 2 heats and a A-Main finals. The Twin Hammers did exceptionally well lapping everyone but 2nd place in all heats and A-Main. Some memorable moments for this class was the fact that I was able to clear the broken bridge section every time consistently by jumping the first log.

2.2 Yeti Pro (Axial Yeti) / 1st Place Winner

This class had 13 drivers which is the largest class of the day. Course layout consisted jumps, hill climbs, rock garden, river rocks, dirt, sand, wagon wheels, and broken bridges. Race had 2 heats taking top 3 drivers each heat and a A-Main finals. I qualified for the A-Main after the first heat taking 2nd place. During my heat I pulled the fastest lap of the day of any class with the Yeti of a 32.80 second, I also believe it is my personal fastest lap of the track in it’s current layout. During the A-Main I lead a little more than the second half of the Main, taking home 1st Place.
