Day dominated Willamette Valley Classic

This past weekend Kyosho America's Tanner Day would attend the 2016 Willamette Valley Classic hosted by Dave's RC Tracks in Hubbard, Oregon. T-Day would compete in the 2 most competitive classes of the weekend being 2wd & 4wd Modified Buggy.

In the 2wd Modified Buggy class, Day would go onto TQ both rounds of qualifying to secure the overall TQ!

Kyosho America Team Manager Joe Pillars would take the impressive Win in A-Main #1 with Day finishing a few seconds back in 2nd.

Day would then go onto take the Wins in A-Main #2 & A-Main #3 just ahead of Pillars to take his 1st Championship of the weekend!

Kyosho would have a great showing with 4 out of the top 5 using RB6's!

2wd Modified Buggy Top 5 Overall:

1. Tanner Day (TQ) - Kyosho RB6 MM
2. Joe Pillars - Kyosho RB6 MM
3. Tom Davies - Team Associated
4. Derek Rasheed - Kyosho RB6 MM
5. Roger Seim - Kyosho RB6 RM

In the 4wd Modified Buggy class, Day would again go onto take the overall TQ!

In A-Main #1, Day would unfortunately suffer a DNF while in 2nd place.

Day would rebound nicely by taking the convincing Wins in A-Main #2 & A-Main #3 to take home his 2nd Championship of the weekend!

2. Derek Rasheed - Hot Bodies
3. Roger Seim - Kyosho ZX6
4. Ryan Chew - Team Associated
