Spieth won second round of West German regionals

This weekend was the second round of the West German regionals, hosted by MC Dortmund. This is the same club that made the Toyfair races like the EOS and also the Petit race a few years ago.

The club built a completely new track for the 2016 season. They have changed from clay to astro turf and finished just 2 weeks before the race.

Saturday there was no practice possible, this due to the heavy rain.

On Sunday morning it was wet and cloudy but the track started to dry up, this got better from round to round and the sun even came out in time for the finals.

Oliver Speith qualified 2nd in the 2wd class but went on to finish in first place and win the A final. He used the Cougar KF2 SE with the mid motor layout in both wet and dry conditions.
