XB2 victorious at OMK Fall Classic Race Series R6

Yesterday it was time for round #7 of the OMK / Way To Win - 2WD Fall Classic race series.

This time around the track was soaking wet from the past few days of rain. And with the low temperature as well it made the track really slippery.

With this in mind we decided to run my '17 XRAY XB2 CE with the new XRAY carbon chassis for added flex and traction as well as the 3-gear stand-up gearbox and ball diff from the XB2 DE.

Qualifying went really well, we made some small adjustments to the composite parts used (went softer), and was able to take all 3 qualifying rounds in a convincing manner to clinch the overall TQ.

By the time of the finals my XB2 was working really good on the very slippery track making me feel very confident for the triple A-finals.

I was able to get clean starts in the 2 first finals and opened up a comfortable lead to take the win by almost a lap to the rest of the field.

This secured my 5th win in the series out of 5 attempts :)

For the 3rd and last final I decided to watch the action instead of racing myself as there where 3 drivers fighting for 2nd place.

They had a great fight all the way to the finish line and 2nd and 3rd on the podium ended up being separated by only 0.5 of a second.
