Team Durango Race Report:

Team Durango are very fortunate to have a super dedicated network of international race drivers. This network includes a collection of very professional and focused drivers in the beautiful country of Greece. Team Durango racers have recently experienced some great successes at the first round of the Much More Off-Road Cup.

The action was fast on the Paxi Race Track venue close to Athens.

4WD was dominated by the DEX410v3, with five Team Durango drivers finishing in the top seven places! The DEX410v3 was perfectly balanced on the rubber substrate Astroturf track surface. This is how 4WD finished for our Team Durango colleagues in Athens:
  1. Amaxas Dimitris - Team Durango DEX410v3
  2. Sgouros John
  3. Foteinos Dimitris -Team Durango DEX410v3
  4. Tolis Vaggelis - Team Durango DEX410v3
  5. Kotsidas Panagiotis - Team Durango DEX410v3
  6. Fokianos John
  7. Kourtis George - Team Durango DEX410v3

After the success of the 4WD class for Team Durango Greece, they shook down their DEX210 vehicles for the much loved 2WD class to commence. Nick Andourlidakis piloted his DEX210 buggy to a very solid third in the A final with competition being very strong from many of the regions fastest race stars. 2WD was quickly followed by some very interesting Short Course action with both 2WD and 4WD platforms racing for supremacy. Team Durango fan and dedicated off-road racer George Kourtis raced his DESC210R to a very pleasing third overall with several other non Team Durango trucks experiencing electrical issues during the rough and tumble of this fun and action packed race.

We would like to convey our thanks to Nick for sharing this very exciting race report with us, and extend our congratulations to our team mates in Greece who are flying the Team Durango flag in the warmer climbs of Athens.
