Panther Tires Race Report:
Round one of the 2013 Midwest Nitro Series was hosted by RJD Raceway and Hobbies and without any surprise the race was a huge success. Located in Lincoln, IL there was a total of 164 entries!
Panther team driver Sonny O started of the day setting the pace & TQ’d both Buggy and Truggy running Panther SS Raptors on both Buggy and Truggy. As the day went on the track developed a crazy blue groove and switched to Panther soft Gators for Truggy and soft Komodos for Buggy. A bigger pin worked better on this grooved track. Sonny O ended up TQ for Truggy and missed TQ in Buggy by the tie breaker on the last run.
Panther Tires and DE Racing wheels performed flawlessly. The race started at 10am and ended at 2:30am ! Long day but well worth it as Sonny ended up winning Pro Truggy and took second in Pro Buggy . “A ton of people coming over to check out what tires I was running and commenting on the killer Panther Tire/DE wheels I was sporting!
