Shepherd Race Report:
Last weekend Round 2 of the North German Championship took place at the MACH Hamburg track. Saturday started with free practice on a slippery track, but the traction got better and better during the day. Already in practice the Shepherd/Sonic drivers Lars Hoppe and Timo Schröder had a good pace which they kept all the weekend.
In qualfying, Lars took the TQ spot with his Sonic powered Velox V8 PRO in front of Timo and Ingo Bobrowski in third.
As the tyre wear was quite high, smooth driving was a MUST for the final. After the start Lars immediately pulled away followed by Timo and Ingo. Lap by lap he increased his lead and never looked back. After 30 minutes, he crossed the finish line in 1st followed by Timo in 2nd with Ingo completing the podium in 3rd.
