In Mod truck the man to beat was Team Associated’s Richard “Zippy” Lake and his Reedy powered T4.2 with Pro-Line Suburbs T F/R.

In round 2 of Mod Buggy Lake set the pace by posting the fastest lap and a New time to beat with his B4.2. The tire of choice for 2wd buggy was pretty clear it was Pro-Line Scrubs with Suburbs 2.0 in MC compound, In 4wd buggy it was Colorado’s Zac Gastalum piloting his B44.2 into the TQ position. Chuck Hicks and Scott Spear were running Pro-Line IONs F/R on there buggies. in Mod truck it was once again Richard Lake cruising to a another TQ just ahead of teammate Sean Guthrie and Nathan Chase.

In round 3 of 2wd mod it was clear TLR’s Chuck Hicks proved he had to speed to better the fast lap and TQ with Richard Lake in the 2nd and Scott Spear in 3rd. The top 3 were all on Pro-Line Scrubs and Suburbs 2.0 in 2wd buggy. In 4wd Mod it was TLR’s Chuck hicks once again setting the pace with Scott Spear in 2nd. In Mod truck it was Richard Lake taking the overall TQ with another win!!

Round 4 of qualifiers were on Sunday morning many drivers were prepping tires for the mains in the 4th round while trying to improve the qualifying position as the track was faster first thing in the morning while the track had to most water in it. in the 2wd mod class it was once again Chuck Hicks setting the quick time and securing his TQ for the main events. In the 4wd class it was Zac Gastalum setting fast time and the overall TQ. In Mod truck it was Richard Lake securing the TQ.

Main events:
2wd buggy - It was battle between Chuck Hicks and Richard Lake as they broke away from the field to battle for the win and a couple corners back there was a battle between Scott Spear and Vinny Pedersoli for 3rd. The triple A mains were all good races and hard fought battles with no securing a wrap up in 2. In the end the top 3 were 1st Chuck Hicks, 2nd Richard Lake, 3rd Scott Spear.

4wd buggy - From the tone it was a 3 way battle for the lead. TQ Zac got a rough start and had to battle back for position while Chuck Hicks was stretching out a late race lead over Scott Spear with Zac charging for 3rd. In the 4wd class we saw a couple drivers dip in the 12 second lap range with an average lap of a 13.4 . Top 3 in this class were 1st Zac Gastalum, 2nd Chuck Hicks, 3rd Scott Spear.

Truck Mod - It was the Richard Lake taking the early lead but the real battle was between Sean Guthrie and Nathan Chase. At one point Nathan made a charge for the lead and some bad luck kept him just far enough behind to give the victory the Richard Lake. in A2 it was a hard charge from Nathan Chase to take the lead from Richard Lake and never look back. After it was all said and done the final standing was 1st Richard Lake, 2nd Nathan Chase, 3rd Sean Guthrie.
