Ciddi Amator Race Report:
The last round of 2013 Buggyburn Series was held at the Snappy Raceway in Istanbul, Turkey on August 18th. The drivers came to the track for training starting on Saturday. That same evening, Ciddi Amator (Serious Amateur) Organization organized a pre-race party. Everyone had fun with drivers, ate cake and after the party spent the night working on cars at the track.
Race day started with briefing at 10am. After briefing, drivers took part in controlled practice races to determine qualification groups. Serpent Turkey driver, Deniz Aksut, was lightning fast in controlled practices. Likewise, another favorite driver, Cengiz Gokbulut of Racing Academy, managed to get 2nd best time in the practices. Ciddi Amator driver, Alain Sarafyan, took 3rd after the practice rounds.
During qualification rounds, Alain got used to his new tyres and shifted gears, as he took the overall TQ. Alain would go on to win the Buggyburn 2013, and continue his winning ways!
