Ciddi Amator Race Report:

Last weekend racers gathered at Snappy Raceway in Istanbul, Turkey for the last and final EP 1:8 buggy race organized by Ciddi Amator. The races have been very close this year, and this last round was one of the closest yet. There were 25 drivers competing and everybody was revved up and ready to go!
The race started with controlled practice and Racing Academy driver, Cengiz Gokbulut, was the fastest. After 3 qualifying heats Team Losi Turkey and Ciddi Amator driver, Alain Sarafyan, was TQ.
There were three 10 minute final heats to run, and the first heat was a fantastic finish with Alain Sarafyan Team Losi 1st (15 laps 10:19.780), Deniz Aksut Serpent 2nd (15 laps 10:20.060) and Cengiz Gökbulut Team Losi 3rd (15 laps 10:21.360) it was an awesome last lap.
The second final was set to be just as exciting as the first one, this time Deniz Aksut came in 1st, Alain Sarafyan 2nd, and Mustafa Alp in 3rd.
The mood was set for a thrilling final with Deniz and Alain both needing 1st place to win overall. It was a very close finish again with the two leaders swapping places lap after lap. In the end, only 1 second gap would separate them with Deniz Aksut crossing the checkered flag first taking the overall win!
