After taking last season off, Olly Jefferies returned to the UK 1:12 scale national scene with a win at the opening round of the 2013/14 BRCA Winter Series.

In Modified LMP12 class qualifying, Olly and his Reedy-powered 12R5.2 were completely dominant at the permanent indoor track at Teesside. Olly not only set the fastest time in every round of qualifying, his best time was ten seconds clear of his challengers!

In the A-final, Olly drove conservatively to manage his lead and took the win and maximum points for the round. Multi-time World Champion David Spashett crossed the line for second with Reedy-powered Mark Stiles rounding out the podium positions.

In Saturday's LMP12 10.5 Stock class qualifying, Olly started strong with the fastest time in round #1. He was eventually overtaken by Spashett and started on the outside of the front row in the main event. After a hard-fought eight minutes, Olly and his Reedy-powered 12R5.2 finished on the final step of the podium in third position. Reedy Sonic Mach 2 motors made their mark on the main event as the motor choice of seven out of the ten finalists!

The series picks up again next month in Stocksbridge where Olly looks to make it two in a row and extend his early points lead.
