Fresh off his win at the season opener, Olly Jefferies sought to extend his lead in the standings as the series headed to round two at Stocksbridge.

In the Modified LMP12 class, Olly continued where he left off in Teesside by topping the time sheets in qualifying. Thanks to a perfect combination of driving skill, power, and handling, Olly took the easy win with his Reedy-powered 12R5.2. Reedy teammate Mark Stiles crossed the finish line in second position with former world champion David Spashett rounding out the top three.

After qualifying on the pole position in LMP12 10.5 Stock class qualifying, Olly led the field away and took the early lead. However, an uncharacteristic mistake put Olly to the back of the field, which forced him to play catch-up for the rest of the race. Eventually he finished in a hard-fought 5th position.

In the LMP12 17.5 class, Keith Robertson made his task look easy with a win from the pole position; Keith drove consistently and held off all challengers to take a comfortable win with his 12R5.2.

The series now heads to Tamworth in December where Olly looks to make it three in a row and distance himself even further from his closest challengers in the championship standings.
