SpeedMerchant team driver, Steve Boice recently attended the 2013 Cleveland U.S. Indoor Championships. Boice started out qualifying with an early TQ run in the World GT class, however, would fall back after electrical troubles in the following rounds. At the start of the main, Boice was able to take advantage of mistakes by others, and quickly work his way up to 4th. A few corners later he would move up into 3rd, and quickly gaining on 2nd. A beautiful inside pass coming on the straight, ripping the stickers off his competitor, and he would move into 2nd place. After just a few corners of Steve's World GT3 in his mirrors, the leader ticked a corner, opening the door, and Steve shot by for 1st place. There was just over a minute left in the race, and Steve was firmly in control. The 2nd place car made a run at Steve, but ended up taking himself out of contention. After that, Steve put it on "cruise control" and finished with a straight-a-way lead over 2nd place!
