The 2013 US Open Wheel Championship proved to be once again a successful event for Tekin. Team driver, Eric Salvas would rocket his way to victory in the 4wd Modified Late Model class. Salvas would qualify 2nd overall, and win the dash, giving him the pole position starting off the man.
He would take advantage of the front row starting position, and lead the Tekin team to victory!
