While many of the world's top drivers travelled to America this past weekend for the Dirt Nitro Challenge, reigning IFMAR 1:8 World Champion, Robert Batlle, stayed close to home to do battle at Round 1 of the Spanish Electric 1:8 Buggy Nationals. Batlle would prove to be the man to beat as he set fast times in qualifying, and walked away with the win over Dani Vega and Carlos Pineda.
