Race Report by WCICS:

Round 7 of the non-profit Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series (WCICS) was held on March 7-9th in the beautiful mountain town of Kamloops, British Columbia. The Thompson Valley R/C Race Club (TVRCRC) hosted a great event, with 7 WCICS classes (plus F1) and as the second last round of the season, the all-important championship points on the line. In the Awesomatix sponsored TC Mod class all three Western Canadian Provinces were represented! On the top spot, British Columbia’s Awesomatix sponsored Blake Bell took TQ & the win, in second was WCICS President, privateer Josh Carter from Alberta, and in Third from Saskatchewan was XRay sponsored Ryan Rice. It was a great weekend, and a big thanks to host TVRCRC, and all the class sponsors: Team Great Hobbies, Awesomatix, Team Novak, ATD Hobbies, Orion Safety, The UPS Store (Country Hills) & Best Western Hotels. Full results and podium pics can be found on the official WCICS.ca website. Next we travel back across the Mountain passes (that were closed due to avalanches on both Friday and Sunday!) to the oil country of Calgary, Alberta for the finals on March 28-30th.
