Race report from Randy Jones:\

TLR young gun Tyler Jones attended round 5 of the Midwest Nitro Series hosted by LiveRC Raceway in De Pere,WI this past weekend. The brought in 146 entries from several states. Including Serpent's Mike Truhe.

In Pro Nitro buggy Tyler would make some mistakes in qualifying rendering him a 3rd position start in the A main. The tone went off and Tyler would come up short on a jump and flipping to cause him to fall to the rear. He was driving up through the field and would get wrecked and dropped him to rear again. He pushed hard back up through the field and would have a turn marshall throw a wrecked car out into him knocking him off track for a third time and was almost lapped at that point. Tyler didn't flinch and made an awesome charge to the front of the 25 minute main to finish in 2nd place on the same lap as Mike Truhe. His TLR 8 3.0 was hooked up on JConcepts Green Hybrids all weekend.

In Pro Nitro Truggy with his TLR 8T 3.0 on JConcepts Green Hybrids, Tyler would lock up overall TQ with winning first two qualifiers and sit out third round to prep for the main.

The main tone went off and Tyler checked out from the field. When it was all said and done, he had the entire field by at least two laps at the end of the main.

Tyler would like to say "A huge thanks to Brandon Rhode for letting us race on his personal track. With the rain that came early Friday morning, Brandon worked his butt off to get us an awesome track and I thank him for that!! Also, thanks to TLR, Clockwork Racing Engines, Spektrum, JConcepts, Horizon Hobby, BDB Designs, Bones Brew, Bones Motorsports, Lucky7 RC, Dynamite, and Hot Headz for great products, support, and letting me represent them!!"
