Though every time the cars hit the track this week is important, the first timed round of practice on Friday was the first of any consequence - each driver's fastest three consecutive laps in the first and second round will be used to seed the heats for qualifying, with the third round determining the starting order ahead of tonight's first official qualifier. With every driver searching for every advantage possible, practice has turned into a competitive event!

"My car was good, but I need to drive a little bit better," said current European Champion Ronald Völker after setting the fastest time in Friday's opening round. Ronald's mechanic Umino Yukijiro said that no changes were planned for the prototype Yokomo, but Ronald reiterated, "I'm not one hundred percent happy with my driving."

Viktor Wilck was less happy with his Tamiya after a third place run, saying, "It's okay, not perfect." Content with the result, he said still, "I need more of everything."

Swedish 1/12-scale European Champion Alexander Hagberg said his 2015 T4 was, "better that time. Making progress compared to yesterday." Trying to find more high speed steering, Alex changed the rear suspension geometry after yesterday and will make further roll changes for the next round.

Christopher Krapp said his prototype Kyosho touring car was "good," but insisted that he had a better five minute pace than outright speed. Struggling for more rear grip, he will change his rear diff oil from 5K to 4K or even 3K for the second round.
