Race report from Team Orion:
The 2015 DHI Cup was held January 9th-11th in Odense, Denmark. Many of the fastest 1/10 electric off-road European drivers were in attendance to try and capture one of the elusive titles. Team Orion would be very well represented at this years DHI Cup with 2 of their superstar drivers attending; David Ronnefalk & Jorn Neumann.
In the 2wd Modified Buggy class, Team Orion Factory Driver David Ronnefalk was on-fire in qualifying and took the TQ honors!
Ronnefalk went onto Win A-Main #1. Then his Team Orion teammate Jorn Neumann went onto Win A-Main #2 and force the Championship to the 3rd & final A-Main. After a great battle in A-Main #3, it was Ronnefalk coming out on top to take the 2wd Modified Buggy Championship! Team Orion would also secure the top 2 spots on the podium!
In the 4wd Modified Buggy class, Team Orion Factory Driver Jorn Neumann went onto dominate qualifying by TQ'ing every round!
X-Ray's Martin Bayer went onto take the Win in A-Main #1. Neumann would hold strong and take the convincing win in A-Main #2. With the Championship coming down to the 3rd and final & A-Main, Neumann drove like a true champion to take the win and add another 4wd Modified Buggy Championship to his resume! Team Orion's David Ronnefalk would put in a great performance to finish 3rd overall, again landing 2 Team Orion drivers on the podium!
