SHOCKING: Team Associated's new Kashima-coated V2 shocks use motocross technology

Keen observers of the story yesterday regarding Ryan Cavalieri's return to the Euro Offroad Series noticed a few new items on his Team Associated B5M, including shocks that appeared to have a different finish than the typical Factory Team dampers.

As it turns out, they're not just custom one-offs or even early test samples, but a new V2 unit with a rather significant new upgrade - a shock body coating developed in motocross racing. Here's the full scoop:

NEW! Factory Team V2 Shocks with Genuine Kashima Coat

Shock Bodies

FOX® shocks with Genuine Kashima® Coat. These shocks have the same attributes as the shock coat found on the buttery-smooth FOX® Factory Series forks and shocks, providing extended life and silky-smooth shock action.

Shock Shafts

These shafts use a screw to secure the piston. Two coatings to choose from: TiN shafts for the longest life and Factory Team Chrome shafts for the smoothest action.

Pistons

Machined for a precision fit and finish. Edges have large radiuses for the smoothest shock action. Also available are blanks for customizing your own.

These screw-mounted shafts and pistons are not compatible with our E-clip shafts and pistons.

Fits 1:10 scale 2WD and 4WD electric buggies, and 1:10 scale 2WD electric trucks and short course.
