Kyosho reflects on 4WD podium sweep at Worlds Warm-Up

The 2015 Worlds Warm-Up Race was held June 5th - 7th at the World Famous Yatabe Arena located just 1 hour outside of Tokyo, Japan. This would be the only chance for all the major car manufacturers to get on the same track surface and same location as the IFMAR World Championships that will be held in just 4-months.

Race Schedule:

Friday, June 5th: 2wd - 1 Round of Practice / 4 Rounds of Qualifying

Saturday, June 6th: 4wd - 1 Round of Practice / 4 Rounds of Qualifying

Sunday, June 7th: 2wd & 4wd Triple A-Main Events

4wd Modified Buggy

After all 4 rounds of qualifying were complete, Kyosho's Naoto Matsukura would take the overall TQ honors. Qualifying 2nd overall was Kyosho's Yusuke Sugiura. And qualifying 3rd overall was Kyosho's Jared Tebo. All 3 Kyosho ZX6's in the A-Main Event would start 1st, 2nd, & 3rd on the grid! A-Main #1: Matsukura drove perfect to lead every lap and take the Win! A-Main #2: Tebo would then answer back by putting in a great drive to take the Win! A-Main #3: The 4wd Championship would come down to the 3rd & Final A-Main. Matsukura drove another perfect race leading from tone to tone to take the Worlds Warm-Up Overall Win! Tebo would finish 5th in this Main to secure 2nd overall with 1, 5 finish. Yusuke Sugiura would round out the podium in 3rd with a 2, 4 finish to complete the Kyosho Podium Sweep!
