Early this morning, Tim Thomas woke up needing to use the restroom - and it’s lucky that he did. He checked on the track for this weekend’s Alabama Manufacturer Shootout and parts of it underwater.

After shutting off the water, Thomas posted a video to at 4:21 AM showing parts of the track flooded.

At 7 AM, Bobby Moore posted a photo of the track in race-ready condition in time to meet the scheduled start for Friday’s qualifying rounds. The fix? A half-ton of kitty litter.

At 8:21 AM, Jennfier Tyndall Smith posted a picture of the fault hose that had caused the trouble.

Shoutout to Moore and his RC Track Masters crew for getting the course back in shape! You can follow the Alabama Manufacturer Shootout with race results and live timing (though there will not be a video feed) here: http://lme.liverc.com/
