Team Associated prototype buggies created with stereolithography 3D printing
 
Nearly two years ago, Team Associated published a photo of a never-before-seen, three-gear, lay down transmission with a case and brace made of a cool, clear material that made the RC world go nuts - it was our first look at what became the B6 buggy. Associated engineers have reiterated that the material used for these SLA prototypes is not durable enough to create a running model — but the translucent material is useful in examining pre-production pieces to evaluate design and fitment. They used similar shots to hype up the B64 and B6.1 kits - check out these cool pictures!
